Message from the President

Simply put, I like to win. I always have.

The desire originated in my early childhood days as I competed with my brothers on the playground. It motivated me as a professional athlete. It refined me in the corporate arena at Hyatt Corporation and AT&T. It distinguishes me in the entrepreneurial seat at The TraMar Group. I just like to win.

However, winning does not mean making the most money or having the most clients. It does not mean having the largest staff or the biggest sign. It is not national notoriety or international connections. Winning is much more than that.

Winning is giving 100% to do the very best job that I can and then doing some more. It is exceeding the needs and expectations of my clients. It is empowering my clients to do all that they can for themselves to move their business forward and knowing that they are satisfied with my performance as well as their own. It is being willing to say 'No' to that which does not serve my best interests or those of my clients. It is being willing to say 'Yes' even if it is not my idea.

Winning is stepping out of the comfort zone to take necessary risks. It is being willing to risk everything for principle, knowing that I may walk away with everything or nothing. It is a ruthless commitment to telling the truth and honoring my word and my agreements. It is a ruthless commitment to hearing the truth and taking corrective action when necessary.

Winning is contributing to the greater good of the community. It is looking in the faces of my children and knowing that I am creating a legacy in which they can be proud. Winning is lying down at night with a clear conscious and strong belief that I have made a difference.

At the TraMar Group, we make a difference!
